I am an Information Communications Specialist and have worked both permanently and contractually for Government as well as Private Industry for the past 24 years. Some of my skills includes information security and I have designed as well as implemented provincial security systems in the past.
My membership on this site came to as a result of all the SCAMS I have read about and would like to educate and/or assist in trying to prevent this to your forum members. I have personally been the person to trace and identify fraudulent links and/or communications for major Government departments and this includes online scams, banking as well as service delivery.
My 1st real post [outside of this introduction], will be a short description and information on the do's and don'ts of electronic communications and what you could do to prevent or minimise your risks and fears. I do sincerely hope I can be of service to you regarding this topic.
